- Who is Furniture 4 Your Home
We are one of the UK’s biggest and best specialist furniture retailers with over 25 years of experience in selling furniture from our showroom in Hertford and another 10 in trading online. We work with manufacturers across the globe and are very proud to offer some of the finest wood furniture for your bedroom, kitchen, living room and any part of your home or office. Whether you are on a budget or looking of high end products, we will have something to match your taste. We always make sure that the quality of each piece of furniture is thoroughly checked and up to our impeccable standards. - Can I order bespoke furniture in a specific size?
We offer a tailored range of furniture that can be customised to your specific requirements. Whether this is size or colour, we are here to help you create a unique piece of furniture that will fit perfectly in your home.
- How long will it take to get my furniture delivered?
Delivery typically takes between 3-4 weeks but it might vary depending on the range and the manufacturer. Some off-the-shelf items could be delivered much sooner. For example, if you order from our Express Range delivery is from 5 to 7 working days (subject to stock availability). On made to order items, please allow 4 to 6 weeks manufacturing time. - How much does delivery cost?
We offer free delivery to all mainland UK addresses regardless of the value of your order. For postcodes that require a ferry trip or for overseas deliveries additional charges will apply. Please check our Delivery Policy & Pricing for detailed information.
- What are the delivery time slots you offer?
We deliver Monday to Friday (excl Bank Holidays) and we offer morning slots (between 6:00 am - 1:00 pm), afternoon slots (between 12:00 noon and 6:00 pm). We cannot offer a specific morning or afternoon slot for remote areas, so the delivery times for these are between 6:00 am and 6:00 pm)
Once you order you will be contacted by our delivery contractor to arrange the most suitable delivery date and time for you. Make sure that you leave alternative contact numbers as your order will not be dispatched until we have discussed the times with you.
- Who will handle the furniture at delivery?
All our delivery vehicles have a 2-man crew trained in handling heavy items, so your furniture will be safely unloaded and placed inside your house. The exception is for our budget ranges which come directly from our suppliers and will be delivered to your door only by one man crew.
- How do I choose the most suitable colour?
For all items in our painted furniture range, you will see a “Colour Choice” palette to the right of the main product images. You can get a good idea about the colours from there however, depending on the screen resolution of the device from where you are browsing, the colours may vary a bit. All our painted furniture ranges use top quality Farrow & Ball paint so you can go to the nearest DIY store that stocks these paints and check their colour palettes for a more accurate impression. You can also visit our showroom in Hertford or call us if you want to discuss your choice in detail. It’s great to have furniture that matches the colour scheme of the rest of your home and we are always available to answer your questions and offer you advice.
- Can I return my furniture if I’m not satisfied with the colour?
We offer you the option to cancel your order anytime up to 7 days after delivery so if you are not satisfied with the colour you can take advantage of this option. However if your colour was customised to your specific requirements, please get in touch with us to discuss the issue before requesting a return. All refunds will be processed within 30 days and money refunded to the same payment method you used to order the goods.

We offer only the finest wood furniture made of oak, walnut, pine and other materials. In addition we also provide a wide selection of painted furniture in a multitude of colours. The accessories we supply such as mirrors, bookshelves and lamp tables, range from rustic chunky oak designs to more modern streamlined pieces and are a perfect match with our contemporary or classic pieces.
- What kind of paint do you use for your painted range?
Our painted furniture collection is very popular with our customers and we have designs that will suit each room in your home. All items are hand painted with top quality Farrow & Ball paint.
- What is the best way to look after my furniture?
Wooden furniture is a great choice for you home, adding elegance, coziness and style. With proper care, each piece can last for a very long time and look as good as the day it was purchased.
